Hello and welcome to our second insert of our spotlight on indie business owners. below is an in-depth interview with the C.E.O and lead graphic designer of the indie start-up Trendy Creations.

question 1.what is your name?

answer 1.My name is Erica Gibson.

question 2.where are you from?

answer 2.I am from a little bit of both the 912 area and Columbus Ga

question 3.what does your company do?

answer 3.My business I own is a graphic design business that creates personalized business logos, business cards, customized graphic flyers, and anything dealing with customized graphics that a client may desire.

question 4.what inspired you to begin in this sector?

answer 4.I was always creative. I use to be into drawing and creative things, so I moved that talent and imagination into the software world to create graphic designs.

question 5.how long have you been doing this type of graphic work?

answer 5.Believe it or not not that long. You can self teach yourself just about anything these days. I spent a few month’s critiquing my craft before I went public, but I’ve been an “artist” for many years. 

question 6.what programs do you use to design your graphics?

answer 6.A good business woman never tells all her business, but if you do your research on the latest software




technology available to purchase to do graphic designs I’m sure you will have a ball park idea. Some of those softwares are Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc. 
question 7. How fast is your turn around service?
Currently, my turnaround service is 24 hours, but as I expand in the future of course it may change. I strive to always have a professional turnaround time while still doing quality work. `

What is your name: Alexia Johnson but I go by TWURK

where are you from: I’m from a small town called Monroe, ga we call it the roe

What is the name of your clothing line: my clothing line name is PRETTY HANDSOME 

What was the inspiration behind the name and type of clothing you design: I was inspired by other upcoming small business owners but the name came from me joking around I always said “I’m pretty handsome” the colors came from my best friend after he passed a year ago. I just launched the brand back in September. Pretty handsome stands for people really envy the Thought of you...hate and neglect didn’t stop our movement either. 

What are some of your favorite clothing brands and why: my favorite brands are Nike and pretty handsome because Nike sends a similar message “just do it” that I’m sending. I chose my own brand because we represent the struggle of becoming a better person.

why do you personally feel it is important to buy from small businesses: it’s important because people have dreams and mouths to feed. I honor anybody who go above and beyond to be somebody and pave a way for our youth.
