Indie Artist Interview Rose Gotti

Rose Gotti was born Roseanna Chalus-Glover in Wilmington, DE and currently resides in Scranton, PA and was born August 12, 1977, She grew up in a drug infested neighborhood and learned from an early age to survive by any means necessary.. She has dealt with many life struggles such as periods of homelessness, being pronounced dead twice and was even in a wheelchair for 3 years, teaching herself to walk again.  The streets were rough but hustling always seemed to make things easier.  She suffers from bipolar which includes depression and severe anger... she learned how to use her pain to make rap music.. She started out in 1990 as a battle/freestyle rapper but continues to learn and grow and push the boundaries as to what a female rapper should sound like.  Her 1st solo mixtape "Death Wish" was released on August 23, 2016 and has been a huge success.

3.)what was your inspiration to get in the music industry? 

A.)My inspiration to get into the music industry was rap music that I grew up on when music told a story or things that the general population could relate to. 

4.)what is your favorite time to record.? 

A.)My favorite time to record is night time when I am relaxed.

5.)who are some producers you want to work with?

A.)  I would love to work with any producers that have an original southern style, my favorite beats are Memphis style.

6.)if you could collab with anyone dead or alive who would it be. 

A.)If I could collab with anyone, I would collab with Koopsta Knicca from the original 36mafia. (RIP) I had many convos with Koop, and he was down to earth, but his rap style was very unique like mine..

7.)what projects have you done in the past. and what are you working on now. 

A.)My latest project was my debut Mixtape called "Death Wish" released August 23, 2016, I am currently working on a lot of features and already looking forward to my next album which I am looking for other artists to feature on.

Mo Muscle Fighting Championship

Mo Muscle Fighting Championship is a Mixed Martial Arts Event Company that was founded by Palm Bay resident  Muhammed DeResse.

If that Name sounds Familiar, it should as DeResse was recently featured on The Ultimate Fighter 23. DeResse  boasts an impressive professional Record of 5-0,An Amateur Record of 11-0, and has five titles under his belt. He is on the fast track to becoming a regular contender in the UFC at the time of this posting. The Art of Organized Noize is a documentary about the production team From Atlanta Georgia. One thing that stood out to me about this group is their name. As an Audio Engineering student,one of the

first questions you are asked, and quite frequently I might add, Is what is Music? But before I answer

that Question Lets ask the Question who is Organized Noize? Organized Noize is a music production trio that consists of  Sleepy Brown, Rico Wade, and Ray Murray. They are most noted for their production work on the track So Fresh, So Clean performed by the Diamond Hip Hop duo Outcast,

As well as countless other platinum charting hits. They are all three natives of Atlanta and were one of the many primary driving forces behind the insurgence of the Southern Sound breaking it's way into mainstream Hip Hop during the mid 90's, That would eventually and to this day dominate the landscape of Urban music as a whole. Their Documentary was produced and released in March 2016 and is available for streaming on Netflix.It was executive produced by Queen Latifah. As a side note it was Rico Wade who encouraged his cousin to pursue a career in rap. Who is His cousin? None other than Atlanta's very own Future. That brings me back to the first question i asked. What is Music? Music is Defined as Organized Noise.
